Rithvik Raja

Rithvik Raja is one of the leading young faces of Carnatic Music today. He had his initial training in Carnatic Music from his mother Smt. Sudha Raja and subsequently from Smt. Sulochana Pattabhiraman. From 2003, he has been under the guidance of Sri T.M. Krishna. A Commerce graduate with special skills in digital designing and sound engineering, he has taken up Music as a full time profession. His music is fresh, youthful and vibrant with a natural flair. His straight forward approach and sincerity reflect in what he represents. He has conducted many programmes to take Carnatic Music far and wide. He is currently the President of YACM (Youth Association for Classical Music) which is the premium organisation for Carnatic Music amongst the youth. He has won all the major music competitions in Chennai and has been giving concerts in the December Season consistently since his first appearance in 2005. He has performed in many leading Sabhas all over India. He was also awarded the Best Vocalist and Best Concert award from Narada Gana Sabha and Parthasarathy Swami Sabha for the years 2009 and 2010.
